Introduction
In early 2016, I participated in a professional League of Legends team where I worked directly with Gabriel Perdiga, known as Loreviz, who is currently the analyst for CNB Esports (a team that competes in the biggest League of Legends championship in Brazil). At the time, Loreviz was the coach of my team, so I was able to see and follow his work closely. Observing how he recorded matches and collected information for the team, I realized it was a laborious process that could be simplified through a system.
Research
The general objective of the research is to understand the work of technical teams of professional League of Legends teams and validate hypotheses observed while working with Loreviz.

Objective 1: To know if the way of work of other coaches is similar, if they use the same materials and if they collect the same game information;
Objective 2:
To learn more about the materials they use;
Objective 3:
To understand the training routine of different teams.
Interviews
For the first stage of the research, distance interviews were conducted. The preference was for a voice call, but a large part of the audience preferred to talk by text message because they felt more comfortable. A total of 6 interviews were conducted, focusing on the methodology used to organize and record data about the team.
As a result of the research, it was concluded that all interviewees use spreadsheets as a method of record keeping, many of which are complex and laborious to create from scratch, requiring prior knowledge of the program. A large part of the interviewees had to seek help to use these spreadsheets. The interviewees also use notebooks and pencils to make specific records.
"An analyst takes a lot of time to create a well-formulated database due to the need for many things, if they had ready-made tools that helped them organize faster and more efficiently, it would be of great help."
Spreadsheets are used to record the following information:

- Training record (Scrims Draft);
- Planning (Draft, plays, rotations, etc.);
- Training schedule;
- Player data (Champion pool and individual statistics);
- Game analysis (Match review: objectives, kills, rotations, etc.)
Questionnaire
For the second stage of the research, an online questionnaire was conducted. The goal was to reach the largest number of people, so I advertised it in groups of coaches and analysts of lol on Facebook. With the questionnaire, I was able to obtain general information and characteristics of the audience.
Survey
After the interview and questionnaire, we were left with the question of which information from the spreadsheet is most relevant. So we conducted a survey in a Facebook group, asking the audience to not only vote, but also to order the items in order of relevance. The purpose of the survey is to determine which of these items are essential for analysis and to order them by relevance level in order to later think about the organization of interface elements. The survey showed that all options are important, but organization and planning are essential for analysis.

With the results of the research, I was able to conclude that the audience uses various tools in their daily lives. Tools for analysis, for record-keeping, for organization, for planning. These tools may be incorporated as functions within a single software that can help the audience from planning the week to analyzing a micro play. Since the audience is young, has direct contact with the computer, mobile devices, and lives in locations scattered throughout Brazil, the ideal solution is a digital product, as everyone will have access and some ease of use regardless of distance.
Persona
To better understand the audience, I created a persona based on behavioral patterns acquired in the research. The persona allows me to know how the user thinks, acts, and behaves, which ends up generating empathy, which is essential for the product to offer a good user experience.
User Stories
1. As a coach, I want to be able to efficiently plan my team's schedule so I don't get lost during the week.
2. As a coach, I want to organize all of the team's documentation so it's easier to consult later.
3. As a coach, I want to make the most of the team's training time so I don't have to work extra hours.
4. As a coach, I want to take notes on key points at the exact moment the play happened, so I can present important plays that happened during the game to the rest of the team.
5. As a coach, I want to view in-depth statistics from the game to analyze it later.
6. As a coach, I want to record individual data for each player to analyze their performance.
Card Sorting
The cards presented possible software functions, and the user organized them in the way that made the most sense. The chosen model was Open Card Sorting, as it would allow more freedom in creating groups and help with nomenclature.
